 WELCOME TO APPLIED PLASMA PHYSICS!

APP delivers Air Pollution Control solutions to the industry and High Voltage Power Supplies (SMPS) to Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP).

Based on prior experience within the area of electro physics and plasma physics, APP has primarily concentrated its activities around the development of non-thermal plasma systems with the goal of appliying these tecniques for reducing pollutants from industrial exhaust emissions.

The companys first industrial prototypes were developed and installed at two industrial customer sites in July and September of 1997. The systems showed reliable performance, and a significant reduction of odour. These two customers purchased additional systems now treating the full emission capacity of 200.000 m³/h.

APP will continously seek to develop the technology and expand its market reach by applying its key technology to offer efficient and effective air pollution control technologies.

The Odour Abatement Systems are compact, modular systems utilizing Non-Thermal Plasma (Cold Plasma) to reduce odour, dust and particulate matter from industrial emissions. Since 1998 APP has delivered and installed air pollution control solutions for customers within many different industries. Today, close to 300 odour and particle abatement systems are installed in Europe, Asia and USA.

Over the years, APP has become one of the world leading organisations within SMPS High Voltage Technology. In 2009, APP will introduce a new and scalable concept to the world market - the ModuPowerTM. In North America and Mexico, this will be done in partnership with Stock Equipment Company in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA.

Industrial Air Pollution ControlMinimize

The APP Odour and Dust Abatement System is recognized as Best Available Technique (BAT) in IPPC for Odour Abatement. The system efficiencies has been demonstrated globally in a wide variety of industrial applications. It offers a low investment cost and very low operation and maintenance cost, together with verifiable odour removal efficiencies


Switched Mode Power SupplyMinimize

The ModuPowerTM developed by APP is a modular SMPS concept where a unit may be tailored to fit your individual need for secondary voltage and current while still being a standard piece of equipment. The modularity even has an inherent fault tolerance as the ModuPowerTM can continue to operate with single module failures.


Domestic Air Pollution ControlMinimize

APP's R_ESP (Residential ESP) is a small scale Electrostatic Precipitator for domestic houshold. The R_ESP has a cleaning efficiency of 85 - 99 % on PM10 and PM2,5 and is currently beeing tested on housholds in Germany and laboratories in Germany and Denmark.
